The Frog Prince
The Frog Prince
Once upon an Autumn day,
My mind was calm, my heart was gay,
I thought of, touring the attic.
Explore the place, not sit static.
Went up, started my search.
Things I saw, increased my urge!
My lil doll, a b'day card, some broken clocks;
Amongst them I saw my small golden box.
Opened it! Couldn't really wait,
Leapt out a green thing, having a date!
My heart was in my mouth,
It smiled and waved, as I was about to shout.
"What are You?" I asked.
"I am the Frog Prince!" He laughed.
"Have you looked into a mirror, ever?" I teased.
"Looks always deceive," He preached.
I felt ashamed; he was right.
Taught me a beautiful lesson about life.
"Will you be mine, if I kissed you?" I inquired.
He lovingly replied," I am yours. That's not required."
