Work Is Worship

Work is worship, 

do what we like and love

But not everyone is that lucky 

Not every work is that easy and nice 

Some get the work of their choice

Some have to do it as their fate 

Some have all the comforts at work

Office, AC, computer, good environment 

Some have all the challenges to face

From garbage carrying to drainage cleaners,

Plumbers to all kinds of labourers

Daily wage earners to mining laborers

Many such unpleasant jobs and work

We get many such services that make 

our life easier and more comfortable 

White collar jobs, executives, officers, lawyers, accountants 

Celebrities in art, drama, cinema

Writers, publishers, editors, authors

Teachers, Professors, academicians 

CEOs and directors find lucky themselves

Than blue-collar workers, technicians

Food restaurants hotel industry 

Some have to work in laboratories

Time-bound responsible yet many times unpleasant jobs

Chemical factories and hazardous materials 

Some have to work for longer hours

Some have physical work whereas

Some have intellectual, stressful jobs

Some are paid less some get the best pay

Nursing, medical doctors professionals

Businessmen shopkeepers small vendors

All play their role and do their work 

How to forget our soldiers who work

By standing on their toes all the times

Alert, sacrificing personal family life

Staying away from home doing duty

Any season any temperature they work

Work to earn, feed families, to buy

all pleasures of life, education of children

To use education and skill 

For satisfaction and self-esteem 

To achieve higher goals in life 

For self-purpose and for our country

No job is less important less worth

Each has to play their role in life

Respect all jobs all work and skill

All jobs are necessary for us all

Respect the work and all workers 

Sincerity hard work morals discipline

All that gives and earns respect

not what type of job or work one does 

Education, skills, physical abilities

Strength of mind and character

All jobs have different requirements 

So respect work, respect human beings!
