Womanhood
Womanhood

In an ever-changing life,
You are a never changing day
You are the aroma of Artemisia Pallens
Ever-shining moon are your eyes
Carrying a pot of cool water
You fill my heart
The earth that held your footprints
Never did see drought
The touch of your dupatta
Brightened my saddened heart
In a crowd, like a ripe corn stalk
I bow to you along with mighty Sun
I will wait for you daily
At the corner of the field
For how long, I know not
Time runs just like a train
Though my tracks may change
I will keep admiring you, Oh Love!
