With You

With You

Move your eyes around

Such an imbalance in nature

Ye would've never found

My eyes trace the path of progress

Progress so vivid

That I see cars and buses all around

But a single lively tree

My eyes could not have found

Move your ears around

Such an imbalance between each and every creature

Some rich others poor

My ears trace the path of progress

Progress so vivid

That all I hear, are wailing cries

My ears can't stand

The moans of misery

The lion cries for forest

The bird cries for a tree

The poor cries for food

Money demands the wealthy

The arms of a sacrificing mother

Whose legs go deep underneath

The ground is pleading thee

To let her spread her greenery

To let her bring back the balance

Which you let slip away

Let the child of the poor

Grow up in a world, which hath no such word

So move your eyes around

Probably the ears two

And trace the path of progress

But this time move your hands too

So that the path to progress

May as well begin with you.
