Wildflowers in Bandana
Wildflowers in Bandana
The thinner edge, of where I stand,
Seasons and the city seemed irrelevant,
So, I let go of generic pasts,
And followed the faded trails,
To my primordial address,
Confronting the scars, numbed by time,
And turned them into tribal tattoos.
Burning down the obscure emotions,
I lighted my way out of ashes,
Sealing the bleeding wounds
With a plant of forgiveness.
Together at the break of a new dawn,
I became the girl,
With wildflowers in her bandana
Drinking away her soul in a glass of wine.
