Who Was She?
Who Was She?
The magical night it was,
Oh yes! Definitely was,
Precisely for the nature's cause
Surely not for anyone's loss
There she stood.....
Her beauty was atrociously
Attractive, just with a look
Could melt anyone's ferociously
Fluttering life, into a crook
Her eyes soared
With starlight and pile
Of memories, just as the lips soaked
In a pinch of honey and a smile
Moon's reflection in that dark
On her face was a perfect spark
The ravishing hair, when she turned
Swayed away without being discerned
As she ran on the puddles
The water sang in the Ghazals
Craving for the music of her jingles
And a glance of her lotus ankles
Oh! How charming and beguiling
Her voice, as she sang
To the universe into exiling
Herself from this world's hang
My! My! What pulchritudinous beauty
I witnessed.....
That's when she gave me a look
And just smiled
Like she knew me from a book
What was her name?
Where was she from?
Why was she in that lush forest?
Who was she?
