This gem, so bright and bold,

Crawled tears from eyes that hold

Bestow upon thee magnificent

Work of character of complete cent

Lord! Cut me from this feeling

If endeavour and love

For, I shall lose this sapling

Out of overwhelming love

Now, that gem,

As precious as this

But not precious as this

Som'in did change.....

Taught, love and learn

Learnt, adore and concern

Too much? Disobeyed laws of nature

Turned into a selfish creature
