Where the mountains heard our hearts

Where the mountains heard our hearts

Him and I, hand in hand
Each heartbeat matching, his warmth a quiet command,
A signal of safety deep down inside—
While the cold wind of Finland
Draws us closer, toward the hills in the winterland of Northern Europe.

His warmth through our hands reaches my spine,
His passionate eyes a storm, yet filled with the calm of protection,
Like an envelope, quietly sealing the moment.

The sound of us walking on snow,
Footprints left behind, our warm breaths rising slow.
We both had something to share
But chose instead to let the silence stay there.

Then he looked into my eyes
I dove into the depth of his gaze,
A passion piercing through to my soul.
He said just one word: “Smile” his only goal.

So I did.
He came closer, closing the space between,
My heart racing, pounding, unseen.
He filled the silence with a kiss, pure and bold,
I ran my fingers through his hair, soft and wild to hold
A moment of pure bliss.

Dusk brushed the horizon, darkness creeping in slow,
Stars blinking above us, setting the mood aglow.
Finland, the land of snowy peaks,
Became a place where love quietly speaks.

Not sure when we broke from the moment so divine,
Until we caught a glimpse of the Aurora’s shine.
He saw the smile bloom across my face
This time, he said nothing, just let it take place.

I looked into his eyes again
Softer now, full of joy, no pretend.
Nature had drawn us even closer that night,
And in his smile, I saw a boy-pure, full of light.
