Wheel
Wheel
So called greatest invention of man
To get going on other's sweat
Expendable or lesser from the vantage point
Of those who wield a whip with some grip
As wheel turns, the carriage creeps forth
Groans and mourns are bearly heard
Break the wheel in a holy war
Some men screamed on and off
Among pages of history we all know
It got bloody and dirty as you know
Tainted by greed, lust and much more
The utopia dreamt faded at the far sight
Long ago a prince from a land in east
Left his wife, newborn and kingdom
In an attempt to stop another wheel
In his sight burdens all that breath
Extremes never gave fruits sweet
But a bitter agony at rope's end
