Warmth
Warmth
The wind was blowing
As the entire city was snowing
With no trace of warmth
She sat huddled in the corner
Minutes passed into hours
And the city was hidden
Beneath the snow
Making the city look beau
But in spite of the beauty outside
She cried and cried
Feeling completely empty inside
Because the warmth she craved for
Was nowhere near her
And she could no longer endure
She went towards the window
To look at the snow
Which looked like soft cotton
Spread across the plateau
It was uncommon to snow here
And in spite of it's rareness
It was never left unforgotten
She smiled sadly at her fate
And was about to turn
When she was suddenly engulfed
But despite that she smiled
Because she finally got the warmth she yearned.
Inching her head up
She looked in the pair of brown eyes
And slowly cuddled herself into him
As the gentle feeling of warmth
Slowly surged through her
