Waiting to grow up

I open my eyes there it is,

My world,the real reality,

I see my parents gleam with joy

They're the best,they just smile at me

Yet they tell me,"It's not for you,

You must remain a child"

I just think the don't get it,

After all,I'm not that mild

Now I'm all grown up,

Of life this is my best stage

Everyone totally adores me,

I'm never giving away this age

I've turned into an old man,

With this life I can't really cope,

Goodbye it's my last day

Now I've lost all hope
