Virtue

You can hear your blood flowing,

Your heart – slowing down,

Your heart, telling you to stop,

But brain letting you do what you want…

Everything melting – to nothingness,

And all of a sudden you don’t feel,

Your senses – resting down,

Time stopping to heal…

An angel – donned in white, comes up to you,

Holds your finger and helps you,

And when you get up – you come across a painful truth,

That you leave behind nothing, but just your virtue…

You can see your body resting,

Your organs has stopped their motion,

Your body – now fully affected,

But is free from any worldly affection…

Seems your heart has stopped beating,

And brain has rested forever,

Helping you release your pain,

The angel doing you a favour…

You wanna cry out of pain and laugh out loud,

But wait, you can’t – as a whole,

You can’t, just because you are more than a tangible body,

You can’t, because now you are a pure soul…

A pure soul – without any inner or outer disease,

And nothing is going to last except – your deed,

Your deed – lying beneath your virtue,

Your generosity or your greed…

Wherever your virtue goes,

Your deeds will be carried through,

Or may I say, wherever your deeds reflect,

Your virtue will keep following too….
