Violence Is Not An Option

Words echoing in every corner of the earth.

But ‘standing up’ is important.’

Where is the line?

If a man pulls a girl in a dark street and

She stabs him with a knife

Do we get angry?

Isn’t a small part of our heart elated to witness the blood?

Our beast sated, ‘justice is served.’ It thinks.

But why can't justice stop the violence?

Why are human so depraved

That they feel pleasure from inflicting pain?

They pick the weakest, easiest victim.

The victims cannot stand up for themselves sometimes,

Sometimes they can.

We applaud them, support them.

But why can’t the monsters be stopped?

Why have they breaded into the human world,

Multiplying at a fast rate?

Why can’t they be taught

‘Violence is not an option’?
