Unseen
Unseen
It came like a bolt from the blue
And became a part forever,
Tender age, courageous heart, confused mind, and passionate eyes,
And the burning desire of hope
Were ripped.
Nothing could stop the inevitable
As it came in on her
And scattered her aspirations
Driven to a new world,
Where her conscience couldn't reach
In somber and dismay she cried,
Controlled by
The unknown the unwilling.
Left in the middle of the ocean
Surrounded by sharks, with no way left to escape
Her heart sank and suffocated the lungs.
Cries, yells, bruises and pains
Made her resilient,
Taught her to swim and
Keep herself safe from all the perils
Of the deep dark ocean.
The water icy cold,
Drove her numb
But she still yearned
For those days of freedom
And lamented,
Till she knew the bitter truth
Of her sacrifice
That all the members were gratified.
