Unpatterened Thoughts
Unpatterened Thoughts
"You are not seen
Now-a-days on the pages.
Are you busy?"-
Asked a die hard fan.
Busy? yes, I am.
As I always was.
To reach the things beyond me,
And to remain untouched by
Current writers' politics.
The rule of patriarchy,
Casting couch,
Bribe and favouritism.
Not to be forgotten, nepotism.
Her eyes were open,
Wider than my thought.
The deep disappointment,
Was visible in her pupils.
I pretended to ignore...............
People who know me,
Refuse to recognise.
Or it seems so, from their behaviour.
At times it’s so disturbing.
My inner conscience solaced me,
To think, express and expect the change
I want to be and more-
Even if it takes a bit longer.
I put my mind on paper,
It doesn’t matter, if it isn’t a star
As long as it creates chatter
With the inner being.
Is it so important
To be in the pages
Even if one must
Buy and wear the badges?
