Universe's Daughter
Universe's Daughter
Did you meet her,
The child of the Cosmos
The chirpy daughter of the universe
Yes, she, the imperishable girl!
She, who hid the stars
Behind each eyelid
Galaxy within her soul
Meteors running through
Her veins
Her boundless heart
Was like a black hole
That attracted all;
The celestial world was
In awe of her vigour,
Her power, her strength,
The dynamic constellation
Twinkled and glittered in her
Atmosphere so vibrant
Making it heard
For people to memorize
Her boundless skies.
And then occurred the calamity
That transformed her once
Colourful abode
To grey and to black.
The world couldn't adjust
In her palette
Instead seized every colour
From her canvas,
Her creative skies
Troubled them, in turn
They compelled her to shrink
Her universe,
Her paradise charred
Smokeless colourless
Flames engulfed her desires
Turning her stars, cold;
Her arms where once
Nestled the luminous stars,
Golden sun, silver moon,
Now vanished into nothingness,
She felt heavy,
Heavy inside, heavy outside,
And a heavy life
She perished;
Yes, the ever imperishable girl,
Eventually perished;
Because her life succumbed when
Her universe condensed.
