Truth
Truth
I burn my dreams and aims
In the fire of the false truth.
What we dream is false,
What we long for is false.
Truth is what you are,
Truth is what you'll make.
We are what people want.
I always wanted to know
What other truth seekers know,
But now I do know that
That was all a false truth.
Now I got to know that
What I know is the truth.
Not what others preach,
Virtues are what we want
Yet nobody ever attained them
And they still look for them,
Disappointed in what they have.
Heart is so true to us
Yet we never ask him
What is true or false.
And live our false life.
Lives become lies
When we look for truth.
Dawn is the real truth
And so is the Dusk.
And time between is false.
For it is the suffering
Or the gladness of souls
Which is a false truth.
How false we all are!
How much we pretend
To look good to ourselves!
We lie to our own minds
Suppressing the truth
That is ceased to be risen
Bringing out our real selves.
We have some dreams
Which are also false.
For they are just dreams.
And one day, we'll wake up
To find that it's all vanished
And the Dusk is dawning again
Seizing you in the chains
Inside the darkest of caves
When you'll see what is truth.
