Tri-cycle (Little One 10/20)

February is the month of love and care,

Our baby's 1.5-year birthday is right here.

She loves blowing candles and cutting cakes,

So we thought why not celebrate.

She is too small to tell what she needs,

But we know in the park what makes her heed.

She starts looking for it all around,

As soon as we reach the playing ground.

So to the little one's surprise,

We placed a new tri-cycle by her bedside.

Her happiness was a treat for our eyes,

Wherever she went she waved goodbyes.

There was a little basket in the front,

She kept her toys and whatnot.

Now she cannot reach the paddle down,

So we keep her pushing her around.

But very soon she will be paddling fast,

And we know this energy is here to last.
