Transcendence

Thousands of smiles move past the street.

I meet a million souls I want to greet.

The darkness has encompassed me for so long.

The pain of not being able to belong.

The seesaw of happiness and joy is on the move

And I seem to be incapable to swing along.

It feels so stuck to be here

Despite the twinkling lights around.

Life is showing me the sky above

But I am scared to leave the ground.

I do like the buzzing Manhattan lane,

At times it does heal my pain...

I hope you come over to stay with me tonight,

And we talk about things beyond loss or gain.

 I seek to be with you and nothing

That is meek. I am quite intelligent

You know… I can read through

Minds as well as through my huge books.

I am a geek; my glasses do make me look like a geek!

But love enriches my life in ways unknown…

I look forward to being empowered and abound.

I hope you meet me on the other end

Of the planet coz, this beautiful earth is round!
