Tiny Bird Made The Day

Dear diary,

Knock-knock, knock-knock

Heard a knocking sound

Opened my eyes

The door was open. . .

I woke up from the bed

The sound came from glass window -a tiny bird 

Playing as the mirror showed its image...

Took video of it

Showed my son too. . .

He longed to see the bird. . .

Things went as usual;

What a surprise! -the same bird. . .

Playing on the mango tree. . .

My little one was so happy. . .

By seeing the glee on his face

His dad took us to pond. . .

We walked in between fields- reached.

Tried out to catch the fishes...

Memories rolled on ...

In my mind...

Yes! I remembered playing

With my brothers,

Catching fishes, prawns

Taking them home happily. . .

We spent for a while 

Came back...

Became a memorable day,

And closing the day 

ln my diary . . .

With delight.
