Those Who Walk With You

Those Who Walk With You

Those who walk with you,

Hand in hand,

Those who sing and dance,

In your happiness,

Those who make you feel free,

Those who don’t care about your flaws,

But, with whom the time,

Flies like the sand, Falling in an hourglass.

They keep your inner fire, burning bright,

They feed your soul,

And make you whole,

Igniting a light.

You, never knew you had.

It’s trust, and acceptance,

Joy, with madness,

Tears and sorrow,

But with laughter on the morrow.

It’s a never-ending cycle,

But, you’re not the hamster in the wheel.

It’s an important journey, You take with them,

A road trip that never ends.

But rather, has pit stops, For rest and repairs,

But still, on you go.

Because, it’s not just jokes and banter,

Or sorrow and slander,

But also, love and candour.
