Those Days
Those Days
There was an old couple who were so close
He said to his wife, it's great that I chose you
I think the kind of love I crave doesn’t exist in this world,
Rays of light shimmer through our breath synchronized
Both, you and I staring at each other
And saying I love you my darling, do you hear what I say?
The sun shines down, the bird sing
He kneels down and holds out a ring
They look back and reminisce those old days
The good, the bad and everything in between
And those dreadful days when their child becomes teen
The husband said take time to listen and she agrees
And I will show my love as he said
Then they added enjoy to help the other out to
Sharing the heavy load of work is what we love to do
This old couple had lived for 60 years together
In front of child they never fight or quarrel
When they wait till they were lone, their problem get ride
We all should learn from all old couples that they are happy
Holding hands, and they stared into this in a light
They never knew their future could look so bright
But one thing is certain, put God first in your partnership
That was the rules they said, and this is a very good tip
