They Say

They say us to be kind and lay it into a young mind,

Positivity becomes the bull's eye following sweet words and refrainment from lies;

All they miss is to project values in persistent,

What do you expect us to learn?

When you on your own are sternly fluctuant.

Nibbling on goodness is not an ethic,

Sadly, temporary virtues serve as a worldly known trick.

They say us to be wise and gift us hope,

But, here they are consistent to pinch us with the time's slope;

Trying and failure is a part of life,

Withal success is impossible without the hanging tip of knife.

They say look, and be like them,

I laugh at their psyche, exclaiming that my thoughts are not the same;

Who will make them understand that if all in the world were to be in the same flow,

The history then would have never distinguished between Netaji, Newton and Michealangelo.
