The World Needs To Change

There was this horrible guy,

And a sweet small girl,

He made her love, wait and cry,

And shattered her whole world.

He made big promises,

And got her hopes up,

Ones he could never keep,

It was never love.

Days turned to weeks,

And weeks into months,

Company she seeks,

He never treated her well even once.

She tried to push her feelings in,

The feelings of sadness went to a dustbin,

The feelings of anger buried deep,

Feelings of shame she couldn't keep.

A bright girl used to score well,

Did well in music and sports,

Now all her teachers gave her a living hell,

About that, she never spoke.

Friends slowly drifted away,

She didn't cry a single day,

When her mother came into the room,

She wept and wept forever till doom.

Her mother slowly left the earth,

Leaving her with nobody,

She was so lonely and so hurt,

She only needed somebody.

With friends gone,

And no mom,

Lord knows,

how she will cope.

Finally, she felt,

Who am I to this world?

Papa hit me with a belt,

And never loved his girl.

The lover didn't love me back,

My fault, I got attached,

All I have done is try and try,

Why can't I just die?

Attached a rope,

Did the whole process,

I've lost hope,

This is nonsense!

With my mother is where I belong,

I am not waiting for too long,

Goodbye, goodbye, wretched world,

You have taken the life of an innocent girl.
