The World Beyond the Stars

The World Beyond the Stars

How pure and innocent is the world beyond the stars,

A realm untouched by pain, free from sorrow's scars.

If tears flow, they are but tears of joy,

Unmarred by grief, no anguish to destroy.

Where no one misses Namaaz on Eid's blessed day,

And Holi's vibrant hues on every face play.

Where Lohri's warmth graces every hearth,

And prayers rise with Christ, uniting the earth.

Where a stranger's pain stirs tears in all eyes,

And no one feasts while a neighbor cries.

Where the creed is humanity, the religion is care,

And the bond of being human is beyond compare.

Standing here, grounded, I wonder and dream,

Of such a place where harmony reigns supreme.

A wedding procession passes, music fills the air,

People dance, their laughter everywhere.

But in my heart, a longing remains,

For a world beyond the stars, free of earthly chains.
