Irony of Existence

Irony of Existence

Flutter flutter, oh my butterflies!

Never rely on any flower

To spread fragrance or bling colours;

No flower cares how you breathe…

And you can never outlive flowers’ charm!

Don’t tilt your head away, oh my flower!

It took a decade to find you in my desert;

My butterflies started fluttering

To your radiance and fragrance;

Your charm of changing colours kills them slowly.

Both my flower and butterflies act on their whimsy,

Though I act like I am in control…
