The WHYs Unanswered

Why don’t you pose a big wide smile,

And teach your enemy the very same style.

Why don’t you hug your saddened girl;

Then gift her a necklace made of pearl.

Why don’t you help a poor old soul;

And make peace your ultimate goal.

Why don’t you say a pleasing word,

And spread good news that you’ve already heard.

Why don’t you fear our lord our God;

But only expect his love And reward.

Why don’t you forgive your beloved friend;

Show a helping hand at times to lend.

Why don’t breathe some cool fresh air;

When you’re so much in a hurry to stop and stare.

Why don’t you sacrifice your favourite thing,

And earn that happiness that no one can bring.

Why don’t you give a sweet surprise;

And delight your mom, if at all she cries.

Why don’t you go on a beautiful ride;

And chase your dream that brings you pride.

Why don’t you eat with the folks deprived,

And pray that their joy is ever revived.

Why don’t you sail And go overseas,

To meet your family and pose selfies.

Why don’t you care for a little ant;

Or grow dearly an useful plant.

Why don’t you mind your granny’s health;

But so die hard for a fugitive wealth.

Why don’t you fight for goodness cause;

And strive for evil to completely pause.

Why don’t you unite as one people;

And help them those so very feeble.

Why don’t you think of the so many Whys

Righteous is the man who really tries.
