imagine the sound from those
speakers not being there anymore
imagine all the gadget-screens
shattered and pulverised to dust
imagine not being able to send
a message over in a blink
imagine being bathed in darkness
struggling to see your hands
and like eliot, such times will show
you fear in a handful of dust.
imagine losing access to the
internet and AI forever
imagine a concrete jungle of
skyscrapers with millions
of defunct silicon chips and
lithium-ion batteries
surrendering to space-time.
>
imagine having to sit in
public transport with a
book in your hand or
actually having a conversation
with another human being for
a change. imagine not being
laid off from your job because
of a large-language-model and
retrieval-augmented-generation.
imagine the world to be a kinder,
warmer place where children
would actually not slit their
wrists after writing suicide notes
on facebook and instagram.
but hey, don't we all love
just sitting back and let the
machines do our work, right?
