The Way You Look At Me
The Way You Look At Me
The way you look at me; your sublime eyes seek for my covert desires,
They caress my wizened heart with the flames of divine fires.
The streaks of kohl that embellish your eyes; blush at my glance,
And I wait for your warmth to entice me into the crimson clouds of romance.
Ages it has been; I languish for a blink of your gleaming eyes,
I seek for your amorous touch through the darkness in disguise.
I behold every fleck of skin that drapes your pristine soul,
And the glistening vermilion that too plays its role.
Do you hold the redolence of the nights with sullen skies?
Purple clouds with nacreous wings had osculated your eyes.
The cacophonous thunderstorms broke into our cave,
And all your heat I drank to brim as it hits me like a wave.
Perhaps; those eyes are still the same; with aplenty concealed lust,
But here today the lost shyness has proclaimed the beads of trust.
The way you look at my quivering soul; hankering for your heat,
Keeps me afloat on amorous clouds till in dreams we meet.
