The Time of Assassins

 the time of Eliot Yeats 

Ezra Pound

They started modernism 

in the English literature 

Before that started  

Charles Baudelaire 

Jean Artur Rimbaud

And before that we saw  

the romanticism of John Keats Shelley and many others.

The history of poems 

set out long ago such as

 essentially to be mentioned 

Homer Balmiki Bedavas.

Still there are poems  

written by ours.

After modernism  

started the period 

named post modern age 

But in fact till now the concept  

of post modernism is obscure 

and remains unfinished. 

On Post Modernism  

the philosophical touch 

of Lyotard is so long notable,

 though his outline 

in most of the cases

is not followed 

in most of the poems  

and perhaps to follow 

is not inevitable.

Yet poems are written 

all over the world. 

Keeping in mind 

the greatest poems of Octavio paz Derek Walcott Joseph Brodsky

 Andrei Vojensky Nicanor Parra Vasko Popa 

Even in the Bengali literature Jibananda Das it may be printed

 At present on the world poetry 

If I step to make 

a constructive criticism 

I had better express

the poets have to comprehend  

the pains like Hell 

and they have to keep secret 

the feelings of pains 

in sharing with others. 

But only should they make 

a sketch of stain like a river 

which is narrow like a line 

thin and lean 

but keeps an unbound wave.

If they can do so  

The readers may get 

the scent of poems 

that shows the horizon 

of this time, the time of assassins.
