A beautiful bird she is,
green in colour with a red beak and a black line on its neck.
She is a speaking parrot,
Wakes up everyone with a good morning.
She loves to chit-chat her way.
Has its home as the cage,
Comes out of it to eat.
Wants to fly around the garden for a while.
Comes and sits at the table,
Sucks down a little water from the bowl after eating food.
When asked if she wants to get into her cage,
Quietly nods and gets in.
