The Sound Of Tranquility

The Sound Of Tranquility

186

The deadly silence came like a tide,

Like the ocean waves against the rocks,

It didn't even give enough time to hide,

And to remove the ever-emerging blocks.

The agony, insecurity was there which could be heard,

Little drops of tears seemed like tiny pearls,

The voices in the mind were quite blurred,

But enough to see what they have hurled.

That tranquility enabled me to peep inside,

Within the depth of my mind,

It was enough to break my pride,

And be a little kind.

The sound was of the voice of consciousness,

Which stopped me from trotting forth,

It brought me back from my nervousness,

And understand everyone's worth.
