Lockdown
Lockdown
While sitting on my couch, I remember,
The fun and frolick which I am missing,
Till the situation be a little better,
And locked in our homes, as the time is slipping.
The days become tiresome and boring,
With not an inch to move,
And as it is the people are ignoring,
The lockdown, which we approve.
I miss the fun I had at school,
Playing with my friends and learning together,
Though the time was nice and cool,
But it is a warning, 'not to gather.'
So I meet my teachers and friends online,
To carry on the light of learning,
It is not a time to whine,
But are faces should be nice and gleaming.
Our bonding and strength will help us to fight,
The situation which is tense and scary,
It is there to test our might,
And not to make us weary.
Though together, we should maintain distance,
Staying calm and positive,
Fighting a battle for our existence,
Till there is an alternative.
Our strength will give us confidence,
And extend a helping hand to the needy,
We should just waken up our conscience,
To remain fit and healthy.
