The Sore Revival

So,

U asked me tonight how is my heart doing without you.

Well,

Have u seen vapid lillies tossing in an arid land?

Dying to quench their thirst

Days went withered away 

Flaxen rays seemed vague

.

The piano keys played unrhythmically 

My heart beats slowly slowed down to the smog of arsine I felt 

I didn't illustrate those lovely words 

I didn't paint 'Our' dream

.

It was like a radio 

Wanting to play our favorite song 

But the corrode batteries kept the lyrics

Dragging back and dragging back

My verses were no more about you

My eyes bled each time like the ink bottle was turned upside down

And the paper was left useless

The rays through the casement seemed like 

Spewing gamma rays to eyes

A reason to sleep 

A reason to wake up 

It had chosen to become a drab illusion

The floweret in my garden 

Vanished.

The Rose's, raped by the merciless gusts of wind

It didn't seem like making my day filled with hope these days

No more beats of glee around

Songs forgot their ways to my soul

The lyrics didn't rhythm anymore

And the poems didn't rhyme

Dreams weren't painted anymore

No surprise ruby buds knocked at my doorstep.

Along with the sunset

My existence seemed to cascade down

I lived my life once in a blue moon

There was no more 'WE'

There was no more 'US'.
