The Small Dram Man

The Small Dram Man

Once there was a small, puny sort of man,

Who loved to drink a lot of dram.

He would only drink dram,

And another bottle of dram, and another bottle of dram.

He would drink a large bottle, in just one gulp,

And then his face would change to a bright red pulp.

His long large wife, would often tell him,

That it was ridiculous to drink dram up to the brim.

But he would not listen, and keep drinking on,

Until then, something happened that I could've sworn;

His small face now turned into a piggy one,

His stomach beached out, his hands and legs swollen.

And he was like that for the rest of his life,

He could never walk straight, without causing himself much strife.

And that, my friends, is his sad story,

He soon came to be known as the 'Small Dram Man' in history!
