My Guiding Light

Once there was a time when

I felt I wasn't needed in this world,

when I thought that I was just a good-for-nothing lad.

 

And then he came,

and showed me the path

which changed my life,

and led me to success

 

He showed me the light

and told me to leave the darkness behind.

he showed me that in spite the hardships,

the world was a beautiful place to live.

 

He told me that ,

in the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.

he told me that,

to waste one hour of time is to waste one hour of life.

 

And then I realized,

that it was not too late to catch up.

I thanked him and now,

I am successful in my own way.
