The Shadow And Me

A shadow walked past me

Intrigued, I tried to recognize

Strangely, the shadow seemed familiar

But its owner, not so much

Curious, I fired some light

But alas, gone was the shadow

And with it was gone

The only part of the stranger

I seemed to know.
