The bright orange glowing ball

Lightening up the land so gay

Creating such a beautiful day

The saffron ball of Shiva


Warming my bones to the core

Giving life to the crore

Good to one and good to all

The beautiful orange glowing ball

I wish I could fly across

And merge with the brilliant glow

Like insects flying towards the light

Perishing but with delight
