The Proposal
The Proposal
Walking besides her today in the park; tiptoeing sometimes; perhaps to make a mark,
The evening sun wrapping the days work; inviting its friend; NIGHT THE DARK,
Suddenly she stood still; gazing at me; may be she had something to reveal,
Or is this the day; I thought; my beats increased; with vigour and zeal,
"Is everything Ok"; I asked; as my anxious mind wished to drench in pool of love,
"Do you think it's Ok"; She frowned; her angry eyes; cute as dove,
"Whether loving you; a fatal attraction; or beautiful sin; my mind wanders; in pitch dark"
"I yearn to commit; but fear reciprocation;" She quieted; her thin cherry lips; drew an arc,
I smiled Sheepishly; maybe cried at hear who knows; I dreamt this moment so beautiful,
I knelt heartily; with her elegant ring; to seal this moment; so colourful,
She cried; I cried; our tears of joy filled the ocean of love,
"Yes, & only Yes honey; forever and ever", we kissed in rain; as the Heaven blessed from above.
