The Precious Jewel

A Birthday poem to my beloved wife

I’ll gift you the moments on a planet of roses;

You’re my wondrous love like my heart proposes. 

You are my pain and peace at the time of war;

Yet, you think I can wait if you stay back afar?

My days aren’t full without your presence,

Be it in the past, present or any instance. 

Your friendship and care goes beyond my thought;

As you are rightly a beautiful asset that our family has got. 

You’re the precious jewel of your mom and dad,

Don’t worry, I’ll always be there to never let you sad. 

Many more happy returns of the day, my darling wife;

No wonder, you’ve truly become the center of my life. 

This is another day in the life, to love you more; 

And another day to be thankful, to God, therefore. 

Our bond shall stand strong, that no evil can destroy.

Praying that you’re blessed with all success, good health, and priceless joy.
