The Path Unknown
The Path Unknown
A circle is life with roads to decide
Which path you should take
What destination you should arrive.
As I stood I was in deep thought
There were two ways to go
Which one should I opt?
One looked smooth, spread so wide
So much to see, nothing to hide.
As far as I could see it spread itself
With arms wide open like
Welcoming me with happiness,
But I kept moving away from this road
For things, I could not see or ever did know.
There I was moving away from the
Mighty blue sky
With feathery clouds silver and white.
I wish I had chosen the road so bright
There would be so much to do
There would be so much to excite.
Life always takes us on roads unknown
We manage to somehow walk it alone.
But there is always a desire to explore
As we think the road not taken
Would be simpler and known.
