The Paper Boat

The master of the drain,

The paper boat sails majestically.

Dodging plastic bottles, cans, boxes and bags,

Only to be capsized by the slightest of waves.

 

Made from numerous twists and turns,

The paper boat is the most eco-friendly one.

It also becomes a popular cruise,

With ants,rats & worms having fun in many ways.

 

The water is cruel and kind to the boat,

Swerving the boat around obstacles.

But all this is just a trick,

For moments later the boat veers into a packet of 'Lays'.

 

Sailing a paper boat is a dream for all,

But for how long it sails, is upto one's imagination.

The paper boat is the best of ships,

And remains in our memories like warm sunshine.
