A Very Busy Journey

A Very Busy Journey

Starting off from Dehra,

Running over tracks,

Yelling for the people,

To get in with their sacks!

Trudging on its wheels,

Then rumbling over towns,

And passing through mountains,

Covered with silvery white crowns!

Moving fast as a hurricane,

Then coming to a sudden halt,

Annoying the people inside,

As there is a fault!

Repaired in the shed,

For one whole day,

Then taking off early,

To deliver people in its way!

Creaking and rumbling,

Not allowing people to sleep,

Slowing down at the station,

With a sudden loud beep!

A sudden whistle sounded,

By a man whitely-dressed,

And yet another whistle was heard,

As if someone was stressed!

It started off slowly,

Running over the plain,

Following its usual routine,

What a busy train!
