Melodies of birds whisper secrets,

When lemonade is gulped down 

With the rejuvenating spirit

My academic year comes to an end,

Colors flying around, 

I have captured these moments like

Pictures of my polaroid,

I know it’s spring when

I embrace the roses crushed into ruafza, 

And my fragile fears vanish away,

Warm caramel popcorns, and cozy movie nights,

Conceals my faded memories, 

When fragile softness of the month breaks down my ego, 

Unleashes my creativity,

My homeless abandoned nostalgia 

Find a place back into its home, 

That when I know spring has set in, 

Pastel sunshine, bringing enjoy, 

Excitement in my blood, slow sunrise in my life,

It’s one year since COVID 19 changed our lives, 

It’s time for us to accept it, and know it’s spring and

everything will heal.
