The Lost Star
The Lost Star
She thought she was their moon
With all her flaws but just the one
Little did she know that
She was just a stupid star
Lost among the shinier tonnes
She gazed at the clouds
They would someday talk to her
She hoped, too busy to notice
They passed by
And silence was all that enveloped
She wished that
Someone would wish upon her
Call her theirs
But all they did was wait for her to fall
Fulfil their dreams and end the despair
