The Lost Childhood

Once upon a time,

We found joy in slides and the kiddish rhymes.

It all seems like yesterday,

When I cried on my parents sending me away!

Once learning tables was a tough nut to crack,

Now pies, angles, graphs, algebra we've a whole sack!

The toughest decision was once between option 'A' or 'C',

Now, we've to choose between subjects, deciding what we'll be!

Every time we realize to have been a year older,

We feel the stress increasing on our shoulder!

But being with friends is our all-time urge,

And not to forget social media's surge!

Life was once so easy & good,

Now all I want back is my relished childhood!
