The Lone Faucet
The Lone Faucet
“And why do you think I should wait?”
Said the water in the faucet…
As it waited inside when it was closed;
Wanting it to open but not as much.
Life is like the water in the faucet. Isn’t it?
Always ready to flow.
It is up to us if we can open ourselves,
To what it is within us that wants to grow.
But this water can itself be murky at times.
There are leaks aren’t there?
And then we need to use filters on the tap.
So that all the mud gets trapped.
Do you know of some filters for happiness?
I want to use them, it’s been time.
I have been going against the flow
Of my own life, says the wind-chime.
Filtering the water may not help at times.
Maybe you need to change the faucet.
By all means, do all that you need to.
After all, it is your life, own it!
