The Last Scene--------------

Pangs of hunger,

Intense anguish --

All types of pain are ended,

When the fire is set to the funeral pyre of man.

Thousands of pearls have lost on the soil.

Now there are flowers, garlands of flower

Silence and fragrance of sandalwood,

'Kasturi'

And Insense-stick

In the Burning Ghat.

This is the last scene

For Artist and his arts

For Scientist and their inventions

For poet and his poems

For the Creator and his creations.
