The First Cry

Through the darkness of the light, 

With the tube of the life.

The hope to see the new world, 

The sheep of Jesus, ready to come,

Hop and play.

Struggling hard to see the new light. 

Comes out. Silent first!

Then with a pat, she cried,

The first cry of her life.

Then opening the curtains of her eyes, 

To see the new light from her eyes.

To her comes the other sheep,

To see how good she is indeed.

For her the others were strangers

But with a smile she finds,

The one who would do her care.

And that's her world, 

The new shine of her life. 

The mother!

She slept, kicked, smiled there

As she is under the protection from her carrier

With the First Cry!!
