The Farmer's Heart

Oh, almighty creator,

The source of power!

I am a poor farmer,

I grow food for the other,

But I sleep in hunger.

I endure the cold of winter,

And the sun of summer.

I am the puppet of nature,

Because of flood & lack of water.

Still, I am untired labour.

Forgive the young & wealthier,

For their food wasting behaviour,

Please accept my prayer,

And do me a favour

Bless me with human character.
